# Quick Start

## Set up your site

Enter your domain, add 3–5 competitor domains, and select the country market you want to track. You don’t need to install anything or verify ownership — Airefs monitors AI model outputs directly.

## Start your free trial

Once your site is configured, start the 7-day free trial. You’ll get full access to the Pro plan.

## Add prompts

Add the prompts people use when looking for products like yours. You can pick from Airefs’ suggested list or write your own. Aim for a mix of [category winner prompts and popular industry questions](/docs/prompts/). Airefs runs them in ChatGPT by default — [Google AI Overview](/docs/pricing/) is available as an add-on — and returns your mention rate, competitor comparison, and the sources being cited.

## Act on the results

Once your first prompts have run, head to [Discussions](/docs/discussions/), [Articles](/docs/articles/), and [Backlinks](/docs/backlinks/). Discussions shows Reddit threads and other commentable posts that ChatGPT and Google AI Overview are already citing — conversations you can join today to influence tomorrow’s answers. Articles shows content formats that are repeatedly cited in your category, where you don’t yet have a competing piece. Backlinks shows domains already citing content in your category, where you can pitch a mention or link.

## Set up tracking and alerts

[Reddit Alerts](/docs/reddit-alerts/) monitors new threads mentioning your keywords the day they’re posted, so you can engage before a thread becomes an established AI citation.

[Impressions](/docs/impressions/) and [Clicks](/docs/clicks/) track what’s happening on your own site — which pages AI crawlers are visiting, and which visits come from real users clicking through from an AI answer. Install the [WordPress plugin](/docs/integrations/wordpress/), connect your platform ([Cloudflare](/docs/integrations/cloudflare/), [Vercel](/docs/integrations/vercel/), [Netlify](/docs/integrations/netlify/), and more), or add the [API integration](/docs/integrations/api/) to get started.

What does Airefs track automatically?

Airefs monitors AI answers without a site install. Impressions and Clicks require one of the tracking integrations linked above because they measure activity on your own site.
